SMS Privacy Policy


Please review the SMS Privacy Policy carefully.  By texting  Cornhusker Bank (the “Bank”), or by otherwise providing your phone number to the Bank, you agree to this SMS Privacy Policy, as well as the Bank’s SMS Terms of Use and standard Privacy Policy.

1. Third Party Sharing. We will not share your personal data with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Your mobile opt in information, SMS consent process, and telephone numbers for the purpose of SMS are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

2. Information We Collect. When you opt-in to our SMS text messaging program, we may collect the following information:

a.  Phone number
b.  Name
c.  Message content 
d.  Any other information you provide to us through SMS.
 
3. How We Use Your Information. We use the information collected to provide customer support. The Bank may use this information to contact you about any services you may request from us, and to operate and improve our services for you.

4. Security. The Bank implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. As SMS is not encrypted, do not include sensitive information in messages. Please review the Security section of the SMS Terms of Use for additional guidance.
 
5. Consent. By texting the Bank, you acknowledge and consent to the Bank obtaining, using, storing, and processing data including, but not limited to, your name, your mobile phone number, your carrier’s name, the date, time, and content of your messages and any other information that you may provide to us through SMS text messages or otherwise in connection with the text messaging service.   The Bank may use this information to provide customer support, contact you to provide any services you may request from us, to operate and improve our services for you, and for other purposes as permitted by law and disclosed in the Bank's Privacy Policy.  We reserve the right to disclose any information as necessary to comply with any law, regulation, or governmental inquiry.  You represent and warrant that you are the owner or authorized user or subscriber of the phone number and wireless device that you are using to send and receive text messages to and from the Bank.  You may receive text messages when you apply for, or attempt to use, a Bank product or service, as applicable, or when you contact the Bank.    
 
6.  Amendment. Please note that the Bank may alter these SMS Terms and Conditions and SMS Privacy Policy from time to time, in its sole discretion. Changes are effective upon posting on the Bank’s website. If we make material changes specific to SMS, we may send a one-time SMS notice. Your continued use of the SMS service after posting constitutes acceptance.
 
7. Termination. We may suspend or terminate text message services to you if we believe you are in breach of our SMS Terms and Conditions or our SMS Privacy Policy.  Text message services are also subject to termination in the event your wireless service terminates or lapses.  We may also discontinue text message services at any time.
