Mike began his mortgage banking career in 2001 and has since become a prominent producing manager, overseeing a loan portfolio exceeding $500 million. He joined Cornhusker Bank in July 2009, where he implemented a strategic business plan to retain servicing on secondary market mortgage loans. This initiative allows clients to have their mortgage loans serviced locally in Lincoln, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to community banking and its vision to be the top choice in Lincoln.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He is actively involved in his community, participating in volunteer activities through his church, coaching youth sports, and is an alumnus of Leadership Lincoln Class XX.
Andrew has over twelve years of mortgage lending experience. He started with Cornhusker Bank in December of 2013. He holds a client and community first approach to lending. He takes pride in helping his customers achieve their financial goals. Andrew’s clients also have the opportunity to take advantage of Cornhusker Bank’s local loan servicing.
He holds a degree from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in Business Administration and is a graduate of Pius X High School. Andrew is active in his kid's youth sports activities and volunteering around the community.
Melissa’s approach to mortgage banking begins with the customer – understanding their needs and what’s possible. A born problem-solver, she loves helping families buy the perfect home. Active in our industry, she was selected for both the Cornhusker Bank Emerging Leaders and Mortgage Bankers Association Leadership Mentoring programs, and she participates in Women in Sales and Business and RISE Lincoln. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Nebraska.
Her career has given her the experiences, perspectives, and can-do attitude her clients love. Before becoming a banker, she raised three children, worked as a research project manager, co-founded the healthcare non-profit MilkWorks, and had great success as a sales leader with Norwex. Called to serve and solve, she’s active in the community, volunteering and holding leadership positions with Teammates, Lincoln Children’s Zoo, PEO, her college sorority alumni, and her church.
Matt has over 20 years of experience in Mortgage Lending. He will take the time to explain and simplify the Pre-Approval and Mortgage Loan process. Matt started with Cornhusker Bank in 2012. He values the fact that in a majority of cases, Cornhusker Bank retains the servicing of your mortgage loan here in Lincoln. This helps build the relationship he has with his clients, and typically makes the process more enjoyable for all. Other banks in town will sell your loan after closing. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. He has current or past involvement with Junior Achievement, Catholic Social Services, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Pius X High School, Home Builders Association of Lincoln and the Realtors Association of Lincoln.
Since 2002, Luke has helped clients with their home financing by providing expert financial advice and professional service. His technological expertise gives an edge as his clients select loan products. By creating a unique freedom point analysis he empowers clients to analyze a wide array of different loan products based on their specific needs. Going deeper than just payments and interest rates, the analysis takes in to account their long term financial goals. Luke has invested himself fully in the Lincoln community serving on the Board and Finance Committee of Lincoln Medical Education Partnership. Luke has been recognized by the Nebraska Mortgage Association at the Platinum level of the Champions Circle each year.
Tyler has been in the banking industry since 2002 and has spent most of his career involved in Private Banking and Mortgage Lending. Tyler joined Cornhusker Bank in 2020 where he helped establish the portfolio mortgage lending concept where he leads efforts in all non-conventional consumer mortgage lending. He has built a reputation for delivering personalized financial solutions, cultivating long-term relationships, and navigating the ever-changing financial landscape.
Tyler earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Doane University. He has held various leadership and advisory roles while guiding clients through every stage of the mortgage process. Tyler is active in the community participating in various volunteer activities for organizations such as the United Way, the Food Bank of Lincoln, and his church.
