Fraud & Identity Theft Protection

Simple tips help safeguard your Cornhusker Bank business accounts.

Financial fraud can be costly to your company, affecting your bottom line and your overall operations. It's important to put systems and protocols in place for protection, and you'll find full support from the people you trust at Cornhusker Bank.

Fraud Alert!

Cornhusker Bank will never call and ask you for your online banking credentials. If you receive such a call, please hang up and call us at (402) 434-2265.

We have been made aware of several attempts by fraudsters posing as the Cornhusker Bank fraud department. Across the US they are posing as financial institutions and targeting businesses. They are attempting to obtain business online banking credentials by sending you an email which contains a spoofed website where they can capture your credentials. Do not respond to the email or click on any links within the email.

As reported in a publication from the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance regarding potential scams targeting Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan recipients. Unfortunately, fraudsters are now actively exploiting this information and targeting bank customers. These scammers are using publicly available PPP loan details to impersonate Cornhusker Bank’s fraud department. Their goal is to gain access to your financial accounts or trick you into sending payments.

What you need to be on high alert for:
