Day Without Shoes Lincoln

Your shoe donations can make a big difference in someone's life!

Join us every April to get involved in this special collection that provides new and gently used shoes to families in the Lincoln area. There are so many ways you can participate, and we want to work with you to make this Day Without Shoes the most impactful yet!

The foundation of getting them back on their feet is a good pair of shoes.

It all started in April 2011 when Cornhusker Bank and People’s City Mission partnered for the first Day Without Shoes campaign to focus on footwear people need. More than 200 businesses, churches, schools, and other organizations served as collection sites for donated new and used shoes. To date, members of Lincoln, Omaha and the surrounding communities have collected 416,000 pairs of shoes and monetary donations totaling nearly $136,000! Help us keep building momentum for this important cause.
